We will discuss the different wood finishes available, door styles, available features, hardware options, and how the amount of overlay can make a different appearance to your kitchen. We’ll also give ideas on accessory items such as moldings and valances that can give your cabinetry a more custom look.

This workshop is intended to help homeowners learn about the different types of countertops available. We will discuss the pros and cons about granite, stainless steel, butcher block, marble, silestone, etc. We encourage others to participate in this class so that everyone can learn from each other’s personal experiences dealing with different countertops.

This workshop is planned to help homeowners understand the different types of flooring available. Since there are so many types we have split this topic into 4 sessions. Please come to all or pick which session fits your needs the best. All classes will teach you about specific materials, give you tips & suggestions on buying the items, and will discuss the advantages & disadvantages on each item.

We will show you examples of arm and back styles, footing options, tricks to creating sectionals, etc. We will also talk about pros & cons and pricing on reupholstering your current items.

Chairs & Tables Workshop: This workshop will focus on chairs, bar stools & tables. We will discuss standard sizes for round, square and rectangle tables and give you tips on approximate seating you should have depending on the table sizes. We will also discuss heights of counters and what the bar stool / seat heights should be.

Nursery Room Furniture: This workshop is for anyone interested in selecting and, or designing a nursery. We will discuss all the necessary items needed for a nursery including the glider and rocking chair, the changing station, crib bedding, etc. We will give you suggestions on how to make the room economically affordable and suggest excellent vendors in your area.

This workshop is intended for homeowners wanting to spruce up their interiors in a fast and economical way. Changing interior hardware such door handles, knobs, etc. will upgrade your home and make a dramatic difference right away. We will show you the many options available and give you pointers on how to select sizes and styles. This workshop is also excellent class for those with their homes on the market.

This workshop focuses on paint and will give pointers to those interested in a quick and fun change to their homes. We will discuss the different styles of paint, and unique ideas and patterns to do with paint including faux finishing and murals. We will also share examples of completed homes with multi-colored paint palates and inform you on how we choose those colors. You will learn tips on how to select color and get informed on new ideas.

We will also share with you suggestions and new trends about how the pots are now becoming the statement accessory of the room. This will be a fun class and will give a lot of useful information.

This workshop is for those who want to learn about window treatments. We will discuss and show you examples of all the different types of window treatments available. We will share with you the advantages & disadvantages to each type and give you pointers on how to shop to choose the right application for your windows. We will also give advice on how to measure your windows accurately.
